Needless to say, longevity is important to me. I am on my second set of PR4 GTs. Even commuting and touring, I got 11,000 miles on the last set. Great feel, handling and wet road grip. Mitchlen pilot road for GT I will get back to this review section and give my opinion once I get some miles on them, but alas it's winter in the Northeast & I haven't worn out my other set yet so when I swap over my spare rims with the new tires well let folks know. I don't know about rating it as I have not tried very many brands on this bike.

The pilot Road series of tires by Michelin is a tremendous tire and the Pilot Road 4 GT is just the next step in excellence in motorcycle tires
motorcycle parts pattaya Michelin Pilot Road 4 GT Rear Tire Replaced the original Angel GT's on my Ducati Multistrada GT with the PR4's. Really like the ride and feel. Will stick with these on the next set. I have run these tires on my Suzuki V-Strom 1000, my daughter's Sv1000S, and my wife's Ninja 650 for several years starting with the PR2, PR3, and finally the PR4s. I just went on an 1800 mile ride thru Norcal and up to the north Oregon Coast. I rode in lots of rain and these tires never slipped once. The bike leans effortlessly into the corners and sticks very well on dry tarmac too. They last very well on the front and okay on the rear (I'm a big guy and like to use that twisty thing on the right handlebar a lot). Traded up from PR 3 to the 4 GT on my 03 R1200RT Wife and I travel with a Unigo trailer and only 1500 miles into it but seems to be a great tire.

Started the trip in a downpour for 150 miles and not a slip! ***Wrong Tire - Poor Service They sent me the wrong tire ( instead of the Rear Tire, they sent the smaller Front tire and of the Roar 3, not 4 I'd ordered). Then were not willing to sufficiently assist me with the return or compensation for 'their' mistake. Won't do business with them ever again. Best Handling Bar None I just replaced my old PR4GT with a new one. I ride a 2004 Honda ST1300A, two up 70% of the time (I weigh 208lbs, the Mrs weighs 130lbs). I avoid highways as much as possible. The back roads and country lanes here are patched pavement and chipseal. I ride fairly aggressively, even two up ie: not afraid to lean it over at speed and occasionally scraping pegs. 95% of my riding is on dry pavement. The turn-in, grip and stability in tight turns is astounding. For this reason alone, I will never use another tire again. I have ridden in a moderate downpour at highway speeds up to 130 km/h (80 mph) and lane changes and curves were just like on dry pavement.

The downside: the center tread was down to nothing and the side treads severely scalloped at 8,300 km (about 5,000 miles), so I replaced the tire with a new PR4GT :). By the way, the severe scalloping did not affect handling at all. The scalloped tire was just noisier in the turns when compared to a new one. Michelin Pilot GT Tires Awesome feeling tire (nothing like new tires after 11,000 miles, eh?). However - ordered this tire (and the matching front) on 8/25/16; didn't actually RECEIVE ITEMS until 9/9/16 - that's WAAAAYYYYY TOOOO LONG for shipping. Oh yeah, GREAT TIRES for my '07 Yamaha FJR. Already put 200 miles on them to "break-in!" I have 200 miles on the rear tire and so far it feels great. Best Tire on mkt. for Touring 4th set of Pilot rd. Tires first two sets pilot rd. 3 last two sets Pilot Rd. 4 80 mph in driving rain like riding on a rail. Other brands way behind on handling wet and dry and durability. Run Michelins on all 3 of my bikes, these include 2008 Yamaha Fjr with 58,000 miles, make many trips 2500 to 5000 miles and never worry about performance and handling with these.

Motorcycle Superstore price and Serice top notch great combo for serious riders. I didn't think you could improve the ride much on this bike, but these tires made a noticeable difference - they are great. I'm on my third rear 10k+ miles easily), second front and would have a hard time being talked into anything else without proof. This is a great set of tires. I am at 10K on them now, can probably push another 1.5 - 2 leaving some tread on them. These tires have exceeded my expectations in every situation. Not once did these tires slip. Dry or Wet, these tires on a BMW GLT is the PREFECT combination. I have another round coming up and you can guarantee that these are the tires going on my bike. Going back to Dunlaps and Bridgestones I bought this tire due to the reviews on it. I am an aggressive rider and have had several instances that while cornering this tire breaks loose. I also came back from The Snake with a little pieces of the tire all over my swing arm.
