Decent Bang for the Buck When you're on a budget and like the idea of having something to protect your feet when you take a digger, then these are your boots. I was wearing hiking boots before and these boots provide much better ankle support and I've already done some scraping on the toe sliders making me glad they'r there. The laces stay put under the velcro overlap and the soles are plenty grippy and firm while being comfortable enough to walk and wear around the office all day. The only gripe I have with these is the lack of armor over the ankle bone itself. The material is pretty thick over the ankle though and I think it would stand up in a crash. Overall the build quality is good and for the money they offer some peace of mind while you're trying to eat those chicken strips off your tires.
