Very comfortable to walk in and unrestricted comfort in the riding position. I haven't tested the waterproofing so no feedback there. Good looking boot that fits slightly narrow in the toebox. Like the boots, fit is a little loose. Comfortable right away for me. A little tough to get on with my high instep. I had a shoe shop snip some of the vamp panel and stich them again to solve that issue. Haven't been in a heavy rain situation to speak to their weather-proof behaviors. The velcro tends to pop loose on the top when walking but that makes it easier to move around for that duty anyway. All in all, I'm quite pleased with them. Great all weather boots !! We rode to Nova Scotia and PEI and had a wide variety of weather. The boots keep me dry and warm. They fit and were comfortable the first time I wore and just keep getting better. The only concern I had was the velcro comes undone when walking sometimes. Should of got the Roam 2 Good wet proof boot and warm too Due to the crazy weather, freezing cold, 5 inches of snow and then another 4 inches of freezing rain that wash the snow away and made a ice rink. Finally I got the boots. Then mother nature made it nice and dry. The shoes fit very good and I went riding for about an hour.

In my experience this is not the case. I found the buckles to be easy to adjust and latch on and off with no problems.
